JAY WILLS
On Wednesday 10th August, Jay
Wills was involved in a fatal car
accident
on the Broughton Road, Banbury. Jay, from Bloxham was 17. Jay came from a large
family which includes an older sister, Marli, an older brother Dan, and a
younger brother Max. He also had two older step brothers, Kane and Luke plus a
younger step-sister, Neena.
He also leaves behind his father Mark, mother Joanna and step-mother Lisa. Grandparents Pete and Lorna, and Reg and Joan are equally distressed at this sad time.
Jay was a passionate Derby County fan and a promising local footballer, having represented Hook Norton U18’s and adult teams over the last 2 seasons. In the 2010-2011 season Jay was a key member of the U18’s team that went unbeaten and won the Oxford Invitation B league with maximum points.
Jay was always happy and smiling and could never resist the opportunity to pull pranks. A big fan of Ronnie Barker and Tommy Cooper, these two alone played a big influence in his everyday behaviour to the amusement of all who met him.
Funeral arrangements are yet to be made but details, when available will be published on the Jay Wills RIP FaceBook site. Details can also be obtained from the Funeral Directors on 01295 272207.
The family request that no flowers are sent, but donations are made to a memorial fund, the result of which will be a lasting tribute to Jay and will be placed at The Bourne in Hook Norton. Details of this will be made available via the FaceBook site and Funeral Directors at a later date.
