WELCOME FROM THE JUNIOR SECTION TO SEASON 2009/2010



Further to the welcome from the Football Club as a whole, the Junior Section extends its own welcome to the 2009/2010 Season.

As usual, we are full of hopes and expectations based upon what we have achieved in the past and, as reported elsewhere, apart from what our young players may achieve on the field of play, our managers are now busily up-dating their various qualifications so the club’s
FA Charter Standard Club. Award can be renewed.

Steve ‘Dasher’ Knight remains as the Section’s most competent and energetic Chairman, ably assisted, once again, by Warren Morris as Secretary, a role that he carries out in tandem with being the Chairman of the Sports & Social Club.

The Section is proud to announce that playing membership now totals approximately 150 and when the new season commences, with our teams (other than the Minis) once more competing in the Witney & District League, we will be entering the following teams:
Minis (5 to 7 year olds), Under 8s, Under 9s, Under 10s, Under 11s, Under 12s,
Under 13s, Under 14s, Under 15s and Under 16s.

The above teams will be managed as follows:

Once again, we look forward to a happy and successful season.
